Welcome to the RIMA project page, powered by CÆLIS. In this web you can access several information related with radiometric measurements of the RIMA network, federated to AERONET.

The service provided through this system is a set of tools for site managers and researchers in the frame of AERONET:

  • Real-time information to track the status of the photometers (e.g. location, measurement periods, calibration coefficients, operation alarms, etc.)
  • Access to the AERONET data from the links displayed on the map (via AERONET site).
  • Documentation about instruments, failures and troubleshooting.

To see these contents, it is necessary to register. If you are not registered, please register here.

The content of this web page is provided by the Group of Atmospheric Optics, Valladolid University (GOA-UVa). Large support is obtained from the Izaña Observatory(AEMET), AERONET (NASA) and PHOTONS (Univ. of Lille). Please note: all aerosol data used here are subject to the AERONET data policy.

Data policy: if you use RIMA in your investigations, we kindly ask you to include the following acknowledgment in the corresponding publications or dissemination activities: "The authors thank the Group of Atmospheric Optics, Valladolid University, for the provision of the CÆLIS tool (www.caelis.uva.es) used in this publication. We thank the AERONET, PHOTONS and RIMA staff for their support. The research leading to these results has received funding from the European Union Seventh Framework Programme (FP7/2007-2013) under grant agreement Nr. 262254 [ACTRIS]."
